A massive fire has destroyed the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Campus situated in Begusarai, Patna. Furniture and the sports department were destroyed in the fire. The losses are estimated to be more than 50000 (INR)

As per the statement gave by the GD College Coordinator of IGNOU Centre Dr. Anil Sahankar Mishra the fire was the handiwork of some unknown local miscreants.
The city police has already started investigating the incident.
