Why study Engineering?

From the design layout to the smooth maintenance of a hotel, there is engineering expertise required. In order to carry out the various operations involved in the maintenance of a hotel property and the delivery of services, various systems and technical processes are used. Hence, engineers who understand and can develop these systems and improvise further are preferred to carry out such functions.

Pharmaceutical Industry-

Though, this is an industry that is meant majorly for chemical engineers, now even engineers from other streams are moving to it. An engineer grad is likely to work with the pharmacists and chemists for the research and development (R&D) or manufacturing of medicines and medical equipment. The categories can be further divided into classic pharmaceuticals (prescribed by doctors), biopharmaceuticals (vaccines) and commercial (over-the-counter drugs for sale).

Although, experts suggest that IT will be remain at the top of its game and will form a core part of all the other functions of an organisation.
