With a group of 100 Hospitality Management students Suryadatta College of Hospitality Management, Travel & Tourism had been to an industrial visit to Novotel Hotel, Ibis Hotel (Accor Group of Hotels) and Foodhall (Phoenix Market City) on August 8, 2014.

Highlights of this visit:
- Students were briefed about different departments in the hotel by Mr. Manikanta -Training & Development Manager, Ms.Roopal & Ms. Swati. - Asst. Training Managers of Novotel Pune
- Assessed areas were Front Office, Housekeeping, Laundry, Pool bar & lounge different types of rooms and suites, and also the conference and banqueting areas and function areas of the hotel
- New age concept of Select Service Hospitality and its vogue in the nouvelle India was introduced by Mr. Vincent Training Manager Ibis hotel
- Visit to Pheonix Mall at the FOODHALL was the brain booster with International products on display like cheese, vegetables, pre packed products, Cold Meats, Frozen Products
- Live demo was given by Chef Shamboo Sharan on American Food Culture
- The session ended with students-mentor interaction and questioning session
SCHMTT offering recognized hospitality degree programs from UOP and YCMOU, has been ranked amongst the top Hotel management Institutes in India consecutively for the Third year, by Global Human Resource Development Centre (GHRDC) New Delhi, Hotel Management Institutes Survey, 2014.
