Another student who is celebrating is Ms. Rhea Mathew, of Malleshwaram West, Bangalore, who achieved the fourth highest mark in the world in paper P7 – Advanced Audit and Assurance – scoring 83 marks, which also ensured she achieved the highest mark among students from India.

Mohammed Sajid Khan, Head of International Development with ACCA, said: “Completing the ACCA examinations is a fantastic achievement in itself, so excelling at these demanding exams is worthy of considerable praise. Our congratulations go not only to those who have achieved high marks, but to all those students who have passed papers or completed their examinations with us.

Adding further he said, “We look forward to admitting all those students to membership upon completion of their practical experience requirements and Professional Ethics module. The content of ACCA’s examinations is constantly refreshed to reflect developments in accountancy and the changing responsibilities of professional accountants.  Our students are well-placed to continue to build on this success and, through a commitment to life-long learning and development, add value to their organisations and clients.”

ACCA is introducing four exam sessions a year, starting in September 2015 in a number of ACCA’s larger markets, before rolling out globally in 2022.  This means that from 2022, all ACCA students will be able to take exams in March, June, September and/or December. Students can plan their studying to suit their work and personal commitments so maximising their chance of success.
