Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad Announces MBA Admissions 2014

Indian School of Mines (ISM), Dhanbad is inviting applications from eligible candidates for admission to its two-year full time MBA programme for the academic session 2014-16.

Eligibility

A Bachelor’s degree after (10+2) in any discipline from a recognized institution, with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA {45% in case of candidates belonging to SC, ST and DA (Differently Abled Categories)}. For Honours graduates the aggregate will include marks of both Honours and Pass Papers. Candidates appearing for the final bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination can also apply.

Preference would be given to candidates having first class in Engineering Degree or having Post Graduation qualification in any discipline with first class.

Admission Process

To apply for admission to MBA programme at ISM, applicants should have a valid CAT 2013 score. Application form and Information brochure can be downloaded from the institute’s website http://www.ismdhanbad.ac.in. The filled-in application form along with requisite fee through Demand Draft and other relevant documents has to be submitted to the Deputy Registrar (Exam & Academic), Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad – 826004, Jharkhand. Candidates short-listed on the basis of CAT 2013 scores will be called for Group Discussion and Interview for final selection.

Application Fee

Application fee of Rs. 2000/- (Rs.1000/- for SC/ST and PD candidates) shall be paid through Demand Draft Bank drawn in favour of Registrar, Indian School of Mines and payable at Dhanbad.
