The Indian Institute of Crop Processing Technology (IICPT) (Formerly Paddy Processing Research Centre) is a pioneer Research and Development Institute under the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India. IICPT is inviting applications for admissions to the following full time courses for the academic year 2012-13:
- B.Tech. in Food Process Engineering
- M.Tech. in Food Process Engineering
- Ph.D. in Food Process Engineering
Eligibility Criteria:
For B.Tech:
You should have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with major subjects (Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry) with 50 % marks & mere pass for SC/ST.
For M.Tech.:
You should have passed a 4-year B. E. / B. Tech degree with minimum 60% marks in any of the following disciplines: Food Process Engineering, Agricultural Process Engineering, Post Harvest Technology and Food Technology.
For Ph.D.:
You should have passed an M. E. / M. Tech professional degree (with four years bachelor degree) with minimum 60& marks in any of the following discipline: Food Process Engineering, Agricultural Process Engineering, Post Harvest Technology and Food Technology
Application Procedure:
Hard copy application forms of IICPT ( Indian Institute of Crop Processing Technology) are available at the IICPT Office from 23rd April 2012, during all working days between 9.30 AM and 5.00PM, on payment of the application fees.

Mode of Payment
Cash / DD in favour of “Director, IICPT”, payable at Thanjavur.
