Inauguration of Sports Event at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indoor

Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore witnessed the inauguration of the Sports Event on September 2, 2013 which included Chess, volleyball and Table tennis game. Sport event will continue till September 6, 2013. Below are the brief descriptions of different sports event conducting in the campus.

Table tennis game accounted tough competition between a senior student Sushmita Purohit and a junior student Safa Khan. At the end game Sushmita Purohit was declared the winner.

Volleyball was eye catching as audience watched the game with intense curiosity and it was a very sparkling and interesting experience for everyone said Dr. Nitin Merh. All faculties present during the match cheered the competition. The game was among three teams Team A, Team B and Team C. Where Team A led by Dheeraj Kumar (Batch 2012-14) and Team C led by Chandrakant Lovanshi (Batch 2012-14). The Team B was of our fresh batch and they also gave the tough competition. But at the end winners proved their worth.

Chess was a brainstorming experience for each student. It was divided into male and female competitor. In the male category Thakurji Gupta, Abhishek Verma (Batch 2013-15) and Tapesh Prakash (Batch 2012-14) won their respective game.

In the female category Mairaghi Parmar (Batch 2013-15) and Sanyukta Sinha, Sushmita Purohit (Batch 2012-14) won their respective matches.

At the end of the day all the matches in each category were played with right sports spirit and fair referring of games.
