About KEE MCA:

KEE MCA or Kerala Entrance Examination for MCA is organized by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination (CEE). The examination is held for admission in MCA (three years course) in various colleges of Kerala.

The office of Commissioner for Entrance Examination was set up in 1983 as an autonomous organization for the conduct of entrance examination for admission to professional courses in the state of Kerala. The CEE conducts thirteen examinations for under graduate and post graduate professional courses.

The various examinations conducted by CEE in the state of Kerala are Kerala Engineering Agricultural Medical Entrance Examination (KEAM), three years LLB, five years LLB, LLM, MCA, M Pharma, MD Homeo, MDS, MD Ayurveda, M Sc Nursing, PG Medical and PG Super Speciality.
Candidates can get admission to 31 institutes in Kerala including three government institutes, two aided institutes, 23 private self financing institutes and 3 self financing institutes under government control.


CEE Allotment Procedure:

CEE also makes allotment to five courses (KEAM, LLB three years, LLB five years, LLM and MCA) along with conducting the examination. Allotments to other courses are made by the concerned authorities. The allotment made by CEE is based on the merit list. The CEE allots seats to all the Government, Government & Management, quota in Government controlled Self financing colleges and available seats by private self-financing colleges.


Eligibility Criteria for MCA Admission:

For admission in three years MCA course in the state of Kerala, a candidate needs to have a Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics at 10+2 or Mathematics/Statistics at graduation level.


Application Procedure:

Students can apply for KEE MCA through online and offline mode.

Online Mode:

• Candidates can download the application form from the official website of CEE.
• After filling the form, candidates need to send it to admission officer along with a demand draft.

Offline Mode:

• For offline submission of form, a candidate needs to get the form from the counter of CEE or by post.
• The duly filled form, then, should be sent by post to admission officer.
   

Syllabus for KEE MCA:

• The examination for MCA will consist of 150 multiple choice questions.
• Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, General Knowledge and General English will contain 20 questions each.
• Computer Awareness section will consist 30 questions.
• There will be 3 marks for correct answer while one mark will be deducted for an incorrect answer.

Important Dates:

• Issue of Application forms: July second week
• Last Date of submission of application forms: July End week
• Date of Entrance Examination: August fourth week
