I .K Gujaral Punjab Technical University is conducting Inter-college Volleyball Tournament from January 27 to 29, 2022. The venue of the tournament is CTIEMT, Shahpur.
The tournament details are given as below:
- Tournament has started on January 27 and will run through 29, 2022
- Participants must bring their college ID cards duly signed by the Competent Authority
- There should be at least one sports instructor/teacher accompanying their respective team
Punjab Technical University (PTU) was established in the Year 1997 under the Punjab Technical University Act, 1996, aims at to provide for the establishment and incorporation of a University for the advancement of technical education and development. At present, after 15 year of its existence, PTU is providing education to approximately 5 lac students in the fields of Engineering, Management, Architecture and Pharmacy which includes the students from other states also. The PTU is now be known as IK Gujral Punjab Technical University. In a major decision, Punjab Cabinet in November 2013, approved renaming of Punjab Technical University after the name of former Prime Minister late Sh. Inder Kumar Gujral.
