IIT Indore Invites Application for PhD Programme

The Indian Institute of Technology, Indore (IIT, Indore) invites applications from the eligible and interested candidates for the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme in the electrical engineering for the academic year 2022-17. IIT Indore PhD Programme Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who want to apply for the IIT Indore’s PhD Programme should fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

The aspiring candidates should have passed the master’s degree in the relevant discipline of Technology/Engineering in the first division or should have a minimum of first class bachelor degree in the relevant Technology/Engineering discipline from a reputed and affiliated institute/university together with a valid score in the GATE exam.

Candidates with master’s degree in the relevant discipline of science or a B.Tech degree from an IIT with a minimum CPI of 8.0 with valid GATE/UGC/CSIR-JRF qualification or equivalent fellowship will also be eligible to apply.

How to Apply for IIT Indore’s PhD Programme

Candidates who are interested in enrolling themselves for the PhD programme need to apply online. For this purpose, they need to reach out to the official website, which they can do by following this link  http://academic.iiti.ac.in

To apply, candidates need to deposit an application fee of INR 100 which is to be paid through a DD and drawn in the favour of the ‘Registrar, IIT Indore’ to be payable at Indore.

Those belonging to the SW need to submit experience certificate, last three month’s salary slip, No Objection Certificate (NOC) and the Employer’s PAN Card.

Candidates who want to pay the application fee of INR through the SBI I-collect need to take the printout of the online confirmation/receipt and submit it on August 20, 2022 with the other documents.

IIT Indore PhD Programme Selection Procedure

Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria need to report for the written test or personal interview, based on which they will be getting admission to IIT Indore PhD Programme. The written test and/or interview for admission to IIT Indore PhD Programme will be done on Saturday, August 20, 2022 and Sunday, August 21, 2022
