M. Tech Admission Schedule at IISc
The institute has already announced the commencement of application process towards IISc Bangalore M. Tech admission. Eligibility Criteria for M. Tech Admissions
If you are interested in applying for IISc Bangalore M. Tech admission, then you may apply for up to five disciplines at the maximum. The following are the basic eligibility conditions to go for M. Tech programmes:
A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology or an equivalent degree
A Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, physics, chemistry, statistics, electronics or computer science, which should be followed by qualifications obtained through an exam held by UPSC, AICTE, or other such professional societies – Please note that this criterion is limited to some disciplines.
A Master’s degree in science disciplines like physical sciences, mathematical sciences, geology, computer applications, instrumentation, or physics with electronics (in addition to 10+2) – It should be as applicable to a particular department providing M. Tech courses. Please note that this criterion is limited to some disciplines.
A valid GATE score (GATE 2015/2022/2022), as on August 1, 2022
Note:
Applicants may have a second class in the above-mentioned qualifying exams, while SC/ST candidates only need to pass.
Final year students can also apply, provided they pass their final year by July 2022 and meet all eligibility criteria.
B.Sc.-pass candidates, who have done a professional diploma after B.Sc., must have secured at least second class and must have done their B.Sc. in 10+2+3 system.
Applicants, who have studied diploma and received the 1-year exemption, can also apply.

How to Apply for M. Tech 2022 Programmes at IISc
To submit your application towards IISc Bangalore M. Tech admission, follow the procedure mentioned below:
Submit just one application form. You can provide all your five preferences in it.
Start the process by registering on the official website of IISc Bangalore (iisc.ac.in). For registration, you will have to provide details like your name, DOB, and email ID. You will also have to select a password.
After registration, you will receive a link on your submitted email ID. Click on that link and log into the platform.
Now, fill in the application form by entering your personal and academic qualification details. You can also provide your department and course preferences at this time.
Make the fee payment after filling in the information. When it is done, log in to update the journal number in your application form. Then, upload the scanned copy of the institute’s copy of the challan.
You must preview your application before submission and print a copy of it for future reference. The main documents you should be ready to upload during the application process include the following:
