We know that taking the Common Admission Test or CAT is a pre-requisite for admission to various management programmes offered at IIMs.
Likewise, CAT scores are necessary for admission to these two courses at IIM Indore:
- Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP)
- Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management
CAT Eligibility Criteria for IIM Indore 2022:
- Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case SC, ST and DA categories) or equivalent CGPA from a recognised university.
- Candidates in the final year of their graduation are also eligible.
- A valid CAT score.
- A minimum of 5 years professional/ managerial/ entrepreneurial experience post graduation as on December 31, 2022. ( For Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management)
IIM Indore Selection Process For Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) 2022:
IIM-I adopts a three-stage filter when it comes to shortlisting candidates for PGP:
- Eligibility Criteria for PGP
- Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI)
- Final Selection
The details for each stage of selection are as follows:
Stage 1- Eligibility Criteria for PGP
Applicant must fulfill the eligibility criteria given in table 1 for PGP in order to get selected for Stage 2.

The list of candidates for WAT and PI (for all categories Gen, OBC-NC, ST, SC and DA) will be made using the composite scores generated through table 2.
The WAT/PI is expected to be conducted in the month of January in Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai.

The candidates who fulfil the requirements of Stage 2 will be considered for Stage 3. In this stage, the composite scores (as shown in table 3) will determine the final selection. A category wise merit list will be generated based on the composite scores of Stage 3.
Reservation- 15% and 7.5% of the total seats will be reserved for SC & St candidates respectively. 27% seats will be reserved for NC-OBC Candidates and 3% seats will be saved for the PWD candidates.
