IIIT Allahabad Invites Applications for Ph.D Courses Starting 2016

The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad IIIT Allahabad aka IIITA released an official notification wherein it invites applications from the aspirants for its full-time Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programme. 

IIT Allahabad is inviting applications for its full time Ph.D programme under the department of electronic and information technology (DeitY) scheme (Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme for electronics and IT) for the academic session starting from 2022. The Ph.D programme is offered in the field of Microelectronics/VLSI and related areas. 

Those who don’t know about the Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme would be glad to know that it offers an enhanced stipend of INR 22, 500 for the full-time Ph.D candidates in the first and second year and INR 25,000 for the third, fourth and fifth year in addition to HRA. b

Eligibility criteria for IIIT Allahabad Ph.D Programme 

Those who want to apply for Ph.D Programme in IIIT Allahabad must possess M.Tech/ME/ME in Electronics/Electronics and Communication Engineering or a degree in similar disciplines from a recognised institute/university. They should also possess minimum marks/CPI in the qualifying master’s degree. 

Selection process for IIIT Allahabad Ph.D Programme 

The candidates for the required number of seats will be shortlisted based on their academic performance. After this, they will be intimated for the personal interview/written test before the final selection. 

How to apply for IIIT Allahabad Ph.D Programme 

The interested candidates need to send their fully filled up applications together with a complete resume entailing academic details right from 10th onward mentioning the year of passing with each degree/subjects taken/grades and GATE score etc. to hod.ec@iiita.ac.in  and manishgoswami@iiita.ac.in on or before July 25, 2022.
