Indira Gandhi National Open University had witnessed a huge gathering of job seekers on May 18, 2022, due to a campus placement drive conducted by the Placement Campus Cell, IGNOU.
Various industrial giants participated in the fair to interview the candidates and an average of 100 students were interviewed by each company.
The enthusiastic participation along with the ratio of the shortlisted/selected candidates was quite encouraging. While a maximum number of selected candidates were seen in ICICI Prudential and Genpact which picked up 26 and 18 students respectively. In addition, other companies shortlisted over 100 more students for the next round to be conducted at their premises.
While expressing his happiness over the large turnout of the students, Prof. Manoj Kulshrestha, Director Incharge, CPC, and hoped for the same response in near future.
CPC had also conducted a job fair on May 21, 2022 with one of the IGNOU Study Centre, Alliance Educare for the eligible students of RC Delhi-1, where 8 companies participated and interviewed candidates for relevant positions.
