IGNOU Opens Admission for Academic Session 2014-15

Admissions are open for 2014-15 academic session at the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). Applicants can apply for admission in various levels of courses right from the Certificate level to the Master’s level.

Master’s level courses at IGNOU:

•   Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
•   Master of Commerce (M.COM)
•   Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS)
•  Master of Arts (MA) in Rural Development, Hindi, English, Philosophy, Anthropology, Tourism Management, Gandhi and  Peace studies, Extension and Development Studies, Education, Gender and Development Studies, Economics, Distance    Education, History, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Public Administration, Adult Education, Women’s and Gender    Studies.
•   Master of Social Work (MSW), MSW (Counseling)
•   Master of Science (M.SC) in Dietetics and Food Services Management, Counseling and Family Therapy.  

Bachelor’s level at IGNOU:

•  Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)
•    Bachelor of Commerce (B.COM)
•    Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS)
•    Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Hindi, English, Urdu, Economics, History, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, Political Science, Public                    administration and           Tourism Studies.
•    Bachelor of Science (B.SC) with majors in Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Mathematics and Zoology.
•    Bachelor of Preparatory Program (BPP)
•    Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)

Apart from the above level of courses, PG Diploma, Diploma, Advanced Certificate and Certificate courses are also available.

How to Apply:

Candidates can submit their forms either in online or offline mode. The Application should be submitted by June 20th, 2014 along with the payment of fees of Rs. 200/- After 20th June, 2014, the fee would be increased to Rs. 300/- and the application would be accepted till 31st July, 2014.

Student Handbook and Prospectus are also available in all the Regional Centers/ Study Centers of the university and can be obtained in person for Rs.200/-
