IGNOU Starts New Russian Language Course

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has started its new foreign language certificate course in Russian. The admissions in Russian language course will begin from academic session 2022.

The last date of IGNOU application 2022 for Russian language was January 16.

This new foreign language certificate programme in Russian will provide aspirants a basic learning of the language. Notably, it will be a six-month bilingual (Russian and English) programme, and it will be offered through self-learning audio-visual material.

Shivaji Bhaskar, Programme Coordinator and Faculty of Russian at IGNOU’s School of Foreign Languages, said that the newly-introduced Russian language programme will be useful for all sections of society and especially for those engaged in tourism, defence, multinationals, education, BPO, KPO and small and medium enterprises (SME) sector.
