IGNOU Announces Admissions for UG/PG in Tourism

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), one of the Mega-Universities in the World, announces admission for its various Masters, Bachelors, PG Diploma and Diploma Programmes in Tourism.

The flourishing of Tourism in the country created a sudden demand for Tourism Professionals to serve in the Industry. Realizing the dearth of educated Tourism Professionals and the vast avenues of employment opportunities available in the field these programmes were launched by IGNOU.

The School of Tourism and Hospitality Services Management (SOTHSM) of IGNOU is offering for January 2022 cycle, Master of Arts in Tourism Management (MTM), Bachelor of Arts in Tourism Studies (BTS) and Diploma in Tourism Studies (DTS).

Student Handbook and Prospectus is available in all the Regional Centres/ Study Centres of the university which can be obtained in person on payment of Rs.200/-

The Admission form can also be submitted online by creating a user ID and Logging on the https://onlineadmission.ignou.ac.in for instant issue of confirmation of form submission and online payment through net banking/debit card/credit card.

Last Date for receipt of Applications is November 30, 2015.

School of Tourism Hospitality Service Sectorial Management is affiliated to Indira Gandhi National Open University. Tourism and hospitality are the highest employment generators, and contribute significantly to the country's GDP, but they also demand quality manpower. With this in mind, IGNOU offers a series of courses at the School of Tourism Hospitality Service Sectorial Management (SOTHSM). It launched a modest certificate programme and followed it up with a series of courses: Diploma, Bachelors, Masters and the PhD programme.
