IERCEM Memorial Football League-2015 by Techno India - Banipur, Kolkata

A football tournament, IERCEM Memorial Football League-2015, was organized by the Sports committee of the Techno India-Banipur on august 4, 5 and 6, 2015 at BEd Grounds, Banipur. Players from 1st to 4th year were auctioned among four teams. Each team were provided with 2000 points by which each team had to buy any 12 players for 9 each side game with 3 rolling substitute.

The Four teams were Atheletico De Santos (Owner - Jasmine Banerjee & Manager- Sandipan Das), Revolution (Owner cum Manager- Biswaroop Goswami), Raavan Raj (Owner- Amitava saharoy & Manager- Rajdeep Saha) and Ma-er-ashirbad (Owner- Anirban Banerjee & Manager - Turbashu Baral). The top 3 players who got the best bid were: Satrajit Nath (Goal-keeper)-380 points, Tuhin Das (Midfield)-370 points and Sumit Talukdar (Midfield)-360 points.

It was a league stage game with following fixtures and results:

Day 1 Results:

1. Raavan Raj vs Maa er ashirbad. Winner: Raavan Raj (2-0) [1- Md Sohel, Rajesh]. Man of the match - Rajesh Das

2. Atheletico De Santos vs. Maa er ashirbad. Winner: Atheletico de Santos (2-0) [2- Subhapriya Deb]. Man of the match - Subhapriya Deb

3. Revolution vs. Atheletico de Santos. Winner: Atheletico de Santos (1-0) [1- Subhapriya Deb]. Man of the match - Subhapriya Deb

Day 2 Results:

1. Raavan Raj vs Atheletico de Santos. Result – Draw. Man of the match - Md Sohel

2. Maa er Ashirbad vs. Revolution. Winner: Revolution (0-2) [1 Samiron Chakraborty ;1 Sushovan Mukherjee]. Man of the match: Sushovan mukherjee

3. Revolution vs Raavan Raj. Winner: Revolution (0-2) [1-Bhola; 1-Sushovan]. Man of the match - Subhrasis Mallick

Day 3 Results:

Final Match:  IERCEM Memorial League 2015 Champion: Atheletico De Santos (5-0) [2-Subhapriya deb; 1-Souvik Das; 1- Arnab Mondal; 1- Säyantan Bhattacharya]

Runner's up: Revolution, Man of the match: Subhapriya Deb, Man of the tournament: Subhapriya deb.

Winner's trophy was awarded to the team Atheletico De Santos for a 5-0 win against Revolution. Players from winning team were awarded with Winner's medal. Team Revolution was awarded with the runners-up trophy and medals to the individual players. Subhapriya Deb was awarded with the Man of the tournament and three Man of the Match Medals along with certificates. All man of the match winners were awarded with medals and certificates.
