HTCampus organizes Mission MBA 2013 at Delhi School of Business, Pitampura

In a unique session conducted for the first time in Delhi NCR region, click4college in association with Delhi School of Business (DBS), Pitampura organized a free workshop on counseling on Group Discussion (GD) & Personal Interview (PI) for students attempting the GDPI for 2013 for admission to MBA colleges and PGDM colleges in India.

The agenda of the workshop was to provide expert advice on student queries so that they could take informed career decisions. For this purpose, click4college invited eminent speaker, consultant and faculty at various management colleges in India, Sidharth Balakrishna to conduct a session on GDPI and also counsel students on the best practices for choosing a PGDM/ MBA college and MBA specialty. Sidharth is an IIM – Calcutta alumni and has authored books on Management over the past few years. His books include:

• Marketing Case Studies
• Reading Comprehension for the CAT: A Winning Approach by an IIM Alumnus

More than 120 students participated in the workshop, most of them looking for admissions in the academic session 2013. Mission MBA 2013 kick started with Mr. Balakrishna’s session and was followed by a mock GD to prepare the students for the actual GD. The event was attended by Chairman of DSB, Dr. S. C Vats & the Dean, Ms. Racheal Davis, who also gave a session on management strategies to the students.

The workshop helped the students on what to expect, what to answer in certain situations, how to take lead in a GD, how to get yourself noticed in a GD and emerge a success in a GD. This is going to be a yearly event and hopefully more and more students will benefit from it.
