HTCampus College Tour A Hit With Management Aspirants

In a first-of-its kind initiative by click4college, a free, guided bus tour to 3 renowned management institutions in Delhi-NCR was organized on Saturday (July 27, 2013) for students and parents to experience colleges first-hand.

The bus tour took participants to Modi Academic International Institute (Lajpat Nagar), Era Business School (Dwarka) and Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University (Gurgaon).

A total of 40 students and parents who joined the tour got the opportunity to speak to academic heads and college faculty who gave them advice related to careers and admissions in the field of business management.

“The click4college College Tour was a lot of fun. My interaction with college faculty turned out to be a great learning experience,” Sandhya Raghavan, an engineering student looking to pursue full-time MBA, said.

The major highlight of the event was students’ personal experience with the colleges which not just involved interaction, but also a chance to look at the infrastructure and education environment at these esteemed institutes.

Naresh Aggarwal, one of the parents who participated in the tour, said: “The college tour delivered more than it promised. Attending the session has worked in a great way in terms of broadening our horizons. I’m happy that I decided to join the tour. I’m sure it will help us decide better for our kids’ future.”

The participating institutes were delighted to see the tour generating so much interest in students and parents alike.

We really do believe that it has got immense potential to benefit students. We found the participating students very keen for knowledge. It is also heartening to see parents taking equal interest in the education choices of their wards.”
