HTCampus College Tour 2014: Part-I

click4college organized yet another free bus tour on Saturday (8th February, 2014) for students and parents to experience management colleges first-hand.

The day-long college tour took participants to three renowned institutions in Delhi-NCR including, Delhi School of Business, Era Business School and Ansal University.

Around 40 students and parents who joined the tour got the opportunity to interact with academic heads and college faculty who gave them advice related to careers and admissions in the field of business management.

Dr. Rattan Sharma, Principal Director at Delhi School of Business, Brig. (Dr.) Ajay Mehta, Registrar at Era Business School and Dr. Puja Chhabra Sharma, Dean International Programmes at Ansal University, were among those who addressed the participants.

The tour involved presentations by each college, a question and answer session followed by campus tour where students and parents got a chance to look at the college infrastructure and education environment.

23-year-old Harsh Sehgal, who wants to pursue MBA, had this to say about the bus tour.

“Being an MBA aspirant, I was quite keen on coming for the click4college College Tour because I wanted to know about some colleges prior to admission. And I have to say, the tour offered more than I asked for. Not only I got the opportunity to interact with faculty members, I learnt a lot of new things about MBA as an academic discipline.”

Another MBA aspirant, 21-year-old Vandana Goel says, “It was a wonderful experience because it gave us insights into some of the leading B-Schools in Delhi-NCR. It was also nice to interact with fellow participants of the tour.”

The participating institutes were also delighted to see the tour generating so much interest in students and parents alike.

Ruchir Arora, Business Head at click4college, says: “We come across a lot of queries where students want to know about the various colleges, who are the faculty members and what are the placement opportunities they offer. Keeping this in mind, the click4college bus tour had been initiated in July 2013. We are proud to have started this as many students benefit from the tour.”

A similar bus tour was conducted last year in July, which took students and parents to different management institutions across Delhi-NCR.

The Bus Tour is a first-of-its-kind initiative by click4college that aims to assist students seeking admission in management institutes across Delhi-NCR.

The next bus tour is supposedly being planned for 22nd February 2014.
