How to apply for TCS Campus Drive at BBDITM, Lucknow

TCS will be conducting its placement drive at Babu Banarsi Das Institute of Technology and Management, Lucknow on October 18, 2013. All students are requested to join this drive. There are some instructions for how to apply for TCS. Please follow the below mentioned instructions to apply for the drive.

Candidates need to log on to the NextStep portal using the following link https://nextstep.tcs.com 

Click on the tab Register Here to register as a Campus Applicant. Fill in the registration form.

CT Ref ID will be displayed on the screen immediately on submission of the form. Candidate will also receive the CT Ref ID and password on their registered email Id after the form has been submitted.

You will need to use this CT Ref ID and password to login to NextStep Portal and fill the application form.

Once you have filled the application form, you can click on the Apply for Drive menu, on the left hand side of the screen. Candidate will be requested to go through the TCS eligibility criteria detailed on the page and then click on the "Apply" button to participate in the Campus drive.

After clicking on the "Apply" button, you will necessarily need to edit your application form by clicking on "Edit Application Form" button to complete drive registration and proceed with your application submission.

Once you have successfully applied for the drive, your NextStep application status will be updated to Applied for Drive. You will also have an option to Edit Application Form till Applied for Drive status.

Candidates need to complete both registration and application forms in order to appear for TCS Recruitment Drive.

Eligibility criteria to apply for placement drive:

• Minimum aggregate (aggregate of all subjects in all semesters) marksof 60% or above in the first attempt in each of your Class Xth, Class XIIth, Diploma (if applicable), Graduation and Post-Graduation examination which includes successful completion of your final year/semester without any pending arrears/back logs during the entire course duration. Please note that all subjects mentioned on the mark sheets should be taken into consideration while calculating the aggregate marks

• First attempt implies that you should pass the final year/semester examination (Xth, XIIh, Diploma, Graduation and Post-Graduation as applicable) with minimum aggregate (aggregate of all subjects in all semesters) marks of 60% and above within the normal duration of the course itself

• Completion of all courses Class Xth onwards within the stipulated time as specified by your University/Institute and as per the TCSL Selection Guidelines without any extended education. It is mandatory to declare the gaps/arrears/backlogs, if any, during your academic and work experience.
Break in education should not be due to extended education. Any break in education/work experience should not exceed 24 months.

• Only full time courses will be considered

• Candidate should be minimum 18 years of age to be eligible to apply for the TCS Selection process.

Candidates, who have applied to TCS and have not been successful in clearing the TCSL selection process, are not eligible to re-apply to TCS within six months from the date on which they had attended such selection test and/or interview. You are not eligible to appear for the TCS selection process within six months of the previous unsuccessful attempt.
