Working professionals go for an MBA degree to boost their expertise and skills to accelerate career growth and also to shift from one industry to another.
For aspirants working 5 - 6 days a week, CAT preparation is not an easy task. Stringent working hours and work load leave them exhausted; and therefore no time for regular preparation.
However, Alok Bansal, IMS Director Delhi region, has suggested the following tips that can make their preparation easier:
1. Use weekends: If all your weekends are completely off, use them to join an MBA coaching institute. Through professional coaching, you can interact with other candidates and exchange preparation tips with them.
2. Use office breaks: A break for an hour or half from office work could also be used for going through a word list or solving puzzles to boost verbal and logical reasoning skills.
3. Mental Calculations: Instead of using a calculator, start doing mental calculations whenever you get a chance to play with numbers.
4. Reading habit: You can use your travel time to develop a reading habit. Going through newspaper editorials for improving vocabulary and reading informative magazines like India Today or Business Today can help you in many ways.
5. Regularity with Math: Devote at least half an hour everyday to practice math questions
