Sai Swayam Society conducted an event meant for people with disabilities. And, finally, People with Disability (PwD) made a part of a successful event running for more than a year.
The most special part of the day was a DANCE performance by the students on February 1, 2015 at 6:45 am in Central Park.
Apart from this there was a HAND STAMPING stall in Block A to raise awareness about the importance of Sign Language. Also, Kho Kho and Pithhu were conducted by the students in Block B to keep the athletic spirit of the day alive.
Lastly, a Diversity Walk was organized by team including the people of all disabilities as well as able individuals who walked around the inner circle from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. to raise awareness about the need for an inclusive society.
Every small initiative of this kind brings us closer to our dream of a disability friendly society. HTC salutes them!
