After a gap of one year, Harvard Business School (HBS) will run executive programmes in India again. Plans to hold the workshops were put in the backburner last year during the slowdown. But now again in 2010, with the economy recovering, HBS is all set to capitalise on the trend.
Three programmes will focus on important topics concerning India, including development, real estate and professional services.
The first programme titled ‘Building a Global Enterprise in India’ will commence on April 26 in Mumbai. The next programme, in July, will help participants design strategies for growth in the real estate sector in the Indian context and the third programme will give management tips to young professionals working in the service industry. The programmes are meant for executives of Indian companies and multinational companies operating in India.
“India’s economic development will have widespread ramifications for the global economy. It is an exciting place to conduct new research,” said Professor David Yoffie, senior associate dean and chair of Harvard Business School, Executive Education Programmes.
