Gujarat Technological University Organized Workshop on Python

The Open Source Technologies Club of the Gujarat Technological University conducted a three day workshop on Python from 21^st to 23^rd August 2015 in the university campus.

The key speakers of the event were Mr. Manoranjan Padhy, Organizer, Python Developers Baroda and Mr. Harsh Dattani, Organizer, Python Developers Baroda and Co-Organizer, GDG Baroda.

The workshop focussed on discussions on various topics like:

• Basics of Python such as its types, versions and usage
• Libraries of Python such as NoSQL, MongoDB, Django and other network and web libraries
• Internet of Things, Machine Learning, RaspberryPi etc

This Workshop was a complete hands on session that started with a little presentation in the beginning, and throughout focussed on each and every participant attending the workshop to be able to learn Python and its practical implementation in depth.

Students and faculty members actively participated in this workshop.
