Google X : Project Loon - Balloon Powered Internet for Everyone

The Internet today has become an important part of our lives. We depend on it for so many of our daily life issues, business, news, queries, etc. But, It's not just a resource of unlimited knowledge and information it is also one of our primary source of communication with everyone in this world. Wait, did I say "everyone"? Does it connect us to everyone on this planet ? Is Internet access facility even available to everyone? Alas, the answer is No. But, it would turn into "Yes" once Google's Project Loon is successful.

Google X, a secret facility run by Google works on many innovative projects, ideas and future technologies such as self-driving cars, augmented reality glasses and now it's also working on internet service via balloons floating in the stratosphere. Google is working on a technology to provide internet access in the most remote areas and connect "everyone" in this world through the Internet. It is trying to build a ring of balloons which will fly around the globe on the stratospheric winds and provide Internet access to the earth below.

previous week. Anyone living in the Southern Islands of New Zealand can volunteer to help Google. On 17th June, Google released the first Pilot Test video which shows the initial experiment was quite successful.
