Substituting creativity with currency is the new trend camouflaging the society. Master Card has time and again made our lives easier and this time they have an artistic approach towards making it uncomplicated. Master Card has come up with a new contest ‘A world without cash’; yes the name itself instils your mind with creative ideas.
Are you one of the few often tagged as unusual? Is your volcano of ideas erupting with innovation and originality? Do you stand out of a herd owing to your inventiveness? Well, if your answer is yes, please don’t waste even a fraction of a second and get started with Master Card’s ‘A World Without Cash’ contest.
A 15 day contest that started on May 15th, 2014 has already created a buzz amongst the youth. In addition to the fabulous theme of the contest, you stand to win grand prizes like Macbooks and Ipads.
Participation
WORDS
• Intrigued with the theme, you can start by thinking of an alternative to cash based transactions.
• Once bewildered with your concept, package it up with good vocabulary, pen it down and submit it.
• It can be a poem, an essay or just a detailed explanation of your idea would also be sufficed.
• The copy needs to be composed offline in a document form and pasted into the text field.
• Participants should try summing it up in not more than 1000 words.
Those who can’t play well with words have an alternative of making a pictorial or video representation of their thoughts.
PICTURE
• Embroider your picture with a nice caption and a brief write up to give a clear vision to your thought.
• It can be a photograph, illustration or a flowchart.
• The image size can be up to 5 MB.
VIDEO
• The video can be a simple explanation, a song or a concept note.
• It should not be more than 5 minutes long.
• You just need to upload your ideas on Youtube and paste the link. E.g. http://mstr.cd/1ihUXVs

The ideas will be judged by a jury consisting of eminent writers, economists, creative visionaries and senior MasterCard representatives. The entry will be evaluated on the basis of the imaginative leap, the articulation of thoughts and its potential impact on the society.
