GATE 2022 Online Registration has been started today, August 31, 2022. IIT Guwahati has made the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) live for the GATE aspirants. According to the information brochure the, application form is scheduled to be out on 01 September, however, the authority has released the same one day before the scheduled date i.e. 31 August 2022. Candidates who have completed their graduation degree or appearing in the last year of engineering can apply for the examination. About GATE 2022

Graduate Aptitude in Engineering Test (GATE) is a national level entrance test. Aspirants can take admission in various post-graduation courses offered by IITs and other engineering colleges. GATE 2022 will be conducted for 23 papers in an online Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. A Virtual Scientific Calculator will be provided to all the candidates to make their calculation easier and faster. Hence, it is recommended to not bring any electronic device. The duration of examination is 03 hours within which candidates have to solve their GATE paper consisting 65 questions for a total of 100 marks. The question paper consist Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) Questions.

How to Apply Online for GATE 2022?

To apply for GATE 2022 Examination, candidates have to follow the below-provided steps. It is recommended to read all the instructions provided on the GOASP before filling the online form.

Step-1- Click the provided link or visit the official website of GATE 2022.

Step-2- Register yourself by creating an enrollment ID and password. Save the credential for future use.

Step-3- Login with your credential and fill the form by entering required detail

Step-4- Submit the application fee and upload the images of thumb impression, recent photograph and signature.

Step-5- Lastly, submit the complete application form and take the print copy of the acknowledgement or the filled application form.
