GATE 2022 Eligibility for Instrumentation Engineering- The Graduate Aptitude Test (GATE) is a computer based all India entrance examination administered and conducted jointly by Indian Institute of Science (IISC), Bangalore and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) for admission to Post graduation/Ph.D. courses in Engineering. GATE 2022 is to be conducted by IIT Guwahati on February 3, 4, 10 and 12, 2022. GATE 2022 will be conducted in 195 cities with 680 test centres across the country. Candidates will need to meet all terms mentioned under GATE Eligibility for Instrumentation Engineering-

Nationality- Candidates should be Indian national. Candidates belonging to Bangladesh, Nepal, Ethiopia, Singapore, United Arab Emirates and Sri Lanka can also apply. However, check the educational requirement as well to apply online.

Age Limit- There is no age limit for GATE Entrance Examination

Educational Qualification

1. Candidates should have completed four-year graduation degree in Engineering/Technology/Architecture from a recognized university or institute. Those who are in final year of their graduation can also apply.
2. Applicants completed their post graduation in any branch of Science/Mathematics or equivalent is eligible to apply. Final year applicants can also apply.
3. Candidates in the second or higher year of the four-year Integrated Master degree programme in Engineering/Technology or in third or higher year of five year integrated master degree programme and dual degree programme in Engineering/Technology can also apply.
4. Candidates with qualifications obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech. Those who have completed section A or an equivalent of such professional courses are also eligible.
