GATE 2022 Exam Pattern for ECE- IIT Guwahati is all prepared to release the online application form and information brochure of GATE 2022. GATE 2022 Exam Pattern for ECE

Given below are a few important points regarding the GATE Electronics 2022 exam pattern:-

The subject code for the GATE ECE paper is EC. The General Aptitude section will comprise of 15% of the overall marks, Engineering Mathematics section will comprise of 15% of the total marks and Electronics and Communication section will comprise rest of the 70% marks. 1. It is a computer-based exam (online mode)
2. The exam duration is three hours.
3. The paper will consist of 65 questions carrying 100 marks.
4. The question paper will contain both multiple choice questions (MCQs) and numerical answer type (NAT) questions.
5. GATE (Electronics) exam paper will consist of two parts – Part I is General Aptitude (GA) that is common for all the GATE papers and Part II will be based on Electronics and Communication Engineering.
6. A scribble pad will be provided to every candidate for rough work. 
7. The General Aptitude will carry 10 questions carrying 15 marks.
8. There is no negative marking for a wrong answer in numerical answer type questions.
9. Negative marking will be only for MCQs.
