The results for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2014 entrance exam will be declared on 28th March, 2014.
The entrance exam was held from February 2 to March 2, 2014. This year, the GATE exam had been conducted by IIT Kharagpur.
The online entrance test is taken by candidates seeking admissions to postgraduate engineering courses offered by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore.

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India examination administered and conducted jointly by IISc, Bangalore and the seven IITs on behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB) - GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, for admission to Post Graduation/PhD courses in Engineering and Architecture. The exam is carried out in eight zones across the country by the GATE Committee. This committee comprises of representatives from the administering institutes.
