FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS.They know the way.

Just yesterday,I was going through the blogs of my fellow CJs,when I came across Yusra’s blog.It was about Lady Shri Ram College.The whole article was good,but the line which stuck to me was-

                “…I entered the college,with a folder full of documents,and eyes full of stars.”

From what I could make out,LSR was her dream college,and entering it for the first time awed her. Then it struck me-we humans dream a lot.During the early years of our life,we dream to get a new toy,a new bicycle,fly in the sky like Superman.As we grow and reach our teenage years,we dream of new gadgets,trendy clothes,and the most important of all-freedom.

A few years later,when we reach class 10,we start perceiving ourselves as “adults”,which means having a girlfriend/boyfriend,getting pocket money and going to new places with friends.Upon reaching class 12,we are engrossed in our studies,and dream of getting above ‘the now-so-common’ 90%.And a good result,means great rewards.Our desire to get good marks fuels our minds to start weaving dreams,”..If I get 91%,I will get a new bike..woh nayi waali” “85%,and I can finally get that purse in the expensive showroom”.” 96%,and…..”All of our kiddish dreams are fulfilled by our parents.

After all the hoopla around the board results dies down,we start dreaming about a good college.”Yaar,St.Stephens mil jaaye bas..aur kuchh nahi chahiye” “Please bhagwaan ji,LSR dilwa do” “Hindu..” “SRCC…” *AFTER THE CUT-OFFS ARE OUT* “Oh God,koi bhi college dilwaa do.”

After finally getting our desired college,whatever we dream is strictly ours-no one,not even our parents can do anything about it,except guide and motivate us.We start by dreaming about a respectable job,which pays really well.A big car,preferably an Audi or BMW..a 4-BHK house..a 7-digit salary-The ultimate dream.Life set hai boss!But you do realise,its all gonna be possible only if you work hard towards achieving your dreams.Because at the end,you won’t be counted if you tried..the ones who finally did it,will matter.

Dream big!And never take from any other man,his dream!
