Faculty of Law collaborates with IALS

Students and aspirants from law schools have some fresh news on the block. The International Association of Law Schools (IALS) which is a private, non-political, non-profit, volunteer, collaborative, service organization has decided to join hands with Faculty of Law, SGT University. IALS is an association representing more than 155 law schools and departments from over 55 countries representing more than 4,500 law faculty members. It was incorporated under the laws of the District of Columbia in the United States of America.

Faculty of law, SGT University is one of the 10 Indian Law Schools to collaborate with the International Association of Law Schools. IALS is steadily emerging as the standard setting body for legal education by adopting the first ever Singapore Declaration, 2013 known as the ‘Statement of Principles: Outcome and Standards in Legal Education. The Faculty of law will be enjoying certain benefits like regular interaction with law school deans and faculty members from around the globe.

Faculty of Law is known for providing the highest quality professional legal education to equip Indian students for a trans-national practice and to face challenges posed by globalization. It offers 5 year integrated BA.LLB. (Hons), BBA.LLB (Hons), Dual Degree Programmes and one year LL.M Masters Degree Programme.
