Madhav Institute of Technology and Science, Gwalior is conducting a faculty development programme in entrepreneurship from March 22 to April 4, 2014.
The programme is sponsored by National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB). DST with the motive of introducing entrepreneurship in the curriculum of science and technical institutions conduct this type of FDP.
Objectives:
- The main focus of the FDP on:
- Effective package of EDP inputs
- Developing participating faculty member’s skills, knowledge and resources for effective implementation of ED activities in technical institutions
- Assessing entrepreneurial capabilities
- Entrepreneurship and innovation for Competitive Advantages
- Evolving proper strategy, systematic approach and relevant training inputs for promoting youth, specially Science and Technical students
- Counselling potential student-entrepreneurships on project selection and preparation of viable business plan
- Sharing of experiences with EDP conducting organisations and identity specific issues/problems related to developing S&T target group of entrepreneurs
This programme is open to teacher from Science, Engineering, Polytechnic background. However, preference will be given to those teachers who show a developmental attitude towards entrepreneurship activities. This course is fee of cost.
