Faculty Development Programme on Advanced Research Techniques in Finance: A programme for Teacher and Researchers during November 16, 2015 to November 21, 2015 organised by Bharati College.

Objectives of the FDP:

FDP aims to introduce the participants to contemporary research techniques, including advanced statistical analysis and key econometric models that are used in empirical finance.

It also endeavours to facilitate applied learning of these techniques.

It is envisaged that upon successful completion of this FDP, one should be able to understand, select and employ the most appropriate research tools out of the basket of the latest tools used in contemporary research in empirical finance.

Upon successful completion a participant will:

• Have an advanced knowledge of the methods and techniques of modern financial research
• Have extended and deepened his/her understanding of statistical analysis
• Have gained improved his/her critical judgment and discrimination in the choice of techniques applicable to complex research problems
• Be able to use appropriate databases and software packages to collect data and to perform statistical &/or econometric analyses.

Registration:

Fee: 3500/- INR per participant, payable through cheque /draft in favour of “THE PRINCIPAL, BHARATI COLLEGE" payable at Delhi. Only limited seats are available. Registration shall be made on “first come, first served” basis.
