Facing the onslaught of monotony!

I guess I would the first guy who says ‘College is boring’. Not boring in the sense I don’t at all feel like going to college, but boring as it is not as indulgent as school. My goodness, I still remember how I used to fill notebooks with figures and stuff, being a commerce student. Though I wouldn’t go that far to say I was extremely studious, still my day was filled with some task or the other; homework or something. But, now my days seem empty ahead, having nothing to do but stare at idiot box 1 or its advanced companion, idiot box 2.

A strange monotony has entered my life drawing out the creative feelings...... Imagine, I haven’t jotted down a poem or wrote a proper article for one month now! That’s something I haven’t ever done till now!

If you suggest I make some friends at college; thanks for that, but I do have friends, but I am not exactly chatty. I always prefer to be just myself most of the times......

To beat this unbearable monotony, I have started some new hobbies. One of them is Freelancing. Though I haven’t had any successful bids yet, I hope to do some worthwhile work and earn some monetary compensation at the same time.

Another hobby I have chosen for myself is to train myself in French. Learning through an online site by the French Embassy and having bought some books, it is quite interesting. I feel like I am again a small toddler, learning a new language; as I learnt English when I was small!

Hopefully, these will keep me engaged; reviving my creative juices..... Hopefully.................

Ah! This blog makes more sense than my earlier blogs.... Hopefully it does. Does it ?
