[Scene:
Post Board holidays are going on.
Yusra is sitting cross legged on her bed in her room, wearing her favourite pyjamas, brooding over the fact that it'll be yet another day plagued with boredom.
Suddenly her smartphone rings unexpectedly and she picks it up with continuing indifference.

It's a call from click4college. ]

Little did I know that this little phone call would be my ticket to the most 'happening' two months of my life!
They say, destiny has a way of finding you. I say, it has a way of 'banging' right into you when you least expect it! Being a Campus Journalist has been exactly that if not more. Like my own personal package of fortune being delivered right on my doorstep.

It all started with seeing a corporate office for the first time. Since the only time I've seen a cubicle is in the movies, I was pretty much in awe of everything I came across, the coffee dispensers even! The meetings, photo shoots, brainstorming sessions that thus ensued only added more elements to it. I've learnt a thing too many during the course of my stint as a CJ and my respect for people who work for newspapers has escalated to new heights after witnessing for myself the amount of hard work that goes in. Also, not to be blowing my own trumpet, my writing style has improved thus far.

Making new friends has definitely been the best part. When our last meeting as CJs suspended this week, I was in awe of how far we as friends have come along. Cheers to the great many outings that we've embarked upon as a group. May it be the shopping trips to Janpath, eating our favourite 'extra cheesy' pizza, clicking a million selfies or reading out stories to kids with Swechha, it has been such a good experience that it's ironic that even as a writer, I cannot do justice to it with mere words. It was beyond that.

I also just 'have' to mention the little episode of fame that we all can glorify ourselves with. I mean, it's not everyday that you get recognised in the metro by a complete stranger, praised even.

But like all things in life, this comes to an end too, so adios my lovely readers!
But don’t you worry, we might just meet again. ;)
