The bifurcation of Uttar Pradesh Technical University resulted in the birth of Mahamaya Technical University (MMTU) in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. This university affiliated colleges located in the regions of Meerut, Saharanpur, Agra, Aligarh and Moradabad (2010 onwards). The university has about 385 colleges and institutions affiliated to it offering courses in Engineering, Technology, Management, Pharmacy, and other professional programs. The university boasts of advanced infrastructure and a modern five storeyed building with an operational space of 1.25 lac sqft.
The changes that will be observed include:
- Change in the marking pattern. Hence the multiple type questions will be replaced by the objective type questions.
- Change in the Mathematics syllabus, with new topics added in the course
- Change in the semester exam, which will now begin on 1 December, 2011 and will continue till 13 December, 2011
- Pre-university test will be held between 18 November, 2011 and 26 November, 2011
