Eureka 2k15 the techno-cultural event of Shambhunath Group of Institutions on April 23, 2015 was marked with the lively presence of Raghav Sachar & his band.
 
He started the sow by ‘gayatri mantra’, then proceeded with his famous numbers ‘bheegi’, ’pari hun main’, ‘rock mahi’ and also showcased his talent of playing various instruments, with the likes of soprono saxophone, alto flute, bansuri, acoustic/electric guitar, trumpet and many more, which tempted the students to hit the dance floor.
 
Earlier in the day, more than 100 technical and non-technical events were concluded successfully. The events comprised technical/non-technical quizzes, debates, fire-fighting robot, project fest, autocad, car rafter, and many such events that captivated the interest of the students.
 
The evening saw the distribution of prizes to winner contestants. B. Tech technical events had the following winners – Mayank and group for fire-fighting robot, Alok Yadav for project fest, Shubhangi Saxena and group for Taamir, Shobhit Pant of S.H.I.A.T.S for coding and Alok Kumar Jain and Abhishek Kushwaha and others for jal-e-fifa. Nitesh Mishra of B. Tech third year showcased his vocational talent by winning all the debates competitions held. In the MBA department, Rishabh and Varun were winners of adverters. In the cultural events Aakash of L.D.C Institute (solo song), Rahul Kumar of S.I.E.T (solo dance), prince and group of S.H.I.A.T.S (group dance), Swadesh group of S.I.E.T (fashion show) were the winners. The best anchor award was bagged by Shubhra Srivastava and Shivangi Dwivedi.
 
Engineer Tahir Hasan, Vice-President of Geep Industries Syndicate, inaugurated the events. He overviewed the events and appreciated the efforts.
 
Like every year, on this eve, the students holding first, second and third ranks in UPTU examinations were awarded Rs. 10,000/-, Rs. 7,500/-, Rs. 5,000/- respectively.
 
  • The 1st position holders for B. Tech were Avnish Tiwari, Aakshi Agarwal, Twinkle Sharma, and Surya Pratap Patel.
  • From B. Pharma there were Samarth Dwivedi, Deepali Tripathi, Renu bala Yadav, and Poorna Tiwari.
  • From MBA there were Prachi and Preeti Bhatnagar.
 
Dr. K.K Tiwari, Secretary of Institute, and Mr. R.k. Singh, Chief Administrative Officer awarded the winners and wished them a bright and successful future.
 
The program was carried out till late night under proper supervision and with support from the faculty and staff.
