Euphoria 2014 organised at Kurukshetra Institute of Technology & Management (KITM)

Under the aegis of Kurukshetra Institute of Technology & Management famously known as KITM, Department of Management Studies had organized an Extempore & Quiz Contest namely ‘EUPHORIA 2014’ in its premises at state level.

As a tradition in continuation, this year also this programme took place with great enthusiasm. Getting inspired from the successful completion of last year’s programme of same pattern, DMS conducted this year’s EUPHORIA. Students across Haryana participated in enormous count. Their enthusiasm was self-justified as they were eagerly waiting for the gala.

Chairman Sh.Satyapal Aggarwal and chief guest Dean of Colleges-KUK also released a monthly magazine “Top Stories” a group effort of DMS, KITM. He appreciated the exertion undertaken by the member of the editorial team and supporting members. Editor-in-chief Dr.Ranjeet Verma also HOD, DMS told that this is an initiative taken to produce quality study material for the upcoming generations to get intact with different issues related to the current affairs, management studies and other subjects too.

In extempore, Mr. Rahul Vats of KITM won first prize and Mr. Sudhanshu Pandey hold second place, third prize was clinched by Ms. Rituraj Yadav from University School of Management, KUK. In Quiz competition, Mr. Nardev & Mr. Nilesh of KITM secured first place and Mr. Abhinav & Mr. Shailender of NIT, Kurukshetra fetched second place, third place was settled by Mr. Sagar & Mr. Akshit of Indira Gandhi Public School, Kaithal.

As a part of prize distribution ceremony, Chairman Sh.Aggarwal and Director-Principal Dr.P.J.George gave away the mementoes and certificates to the winners. Certificates to all participants were also given. They told that the motto to organize such events helps in developing cooperation and interaction. They also greeted Diwali wishes to all the dignitaries, staff and students present at the moment. Dignitaries of official sponsor’s TVS Motors were also present during the programme. Executives from Career Launcher, Kurukshetra also graced the programme with their presence.

This event was graced with the cultural programme presented by the students of DMS, KITM. They performed an eye catching ‘Bhangara’ dance on this gracious occasion. Rock band of KITM also performed some soothing musical performances which were applauded by the audience. Students from other institutions, schools and colleges paid their sincere thanks to the management committee of KITM and also to the organizing committee of EUPHORIA ’14 for providing a great platform to prove their mettle & grit.
