ENACT Induction Workshop at BESC, Kolkata

The Bhawanipur Education Society College, Kolkata organized an Enact Induction workshop on 6^th August, 2015 to open doors to aspiring theatrical performers who are willing to join the creed.

The guest faculty for the workshop was a renowned filmmaker- Debashish Sen Sharma.

Mr. Anirudh Mackar initiated the workshop by introducing the students to the Collective- Enact, what it does and how it will help students. He also highlighted the agenda of the making a short film on any social issue and tried to encourage the students to actively participate in it. Prof. Subhasis Dasgupta, collecetive teacher coordinator, took to the stage to make the workshop an interactive session.

An exercise of body motion where participants were asked to move freely until he gave a signal was initiated. All participants were to figuratively freeze when the aforementioned signal was given to reiterate the purpose of this exercise in due time. Similarly other exercises were done. Vocal training and elocution were the final lessons that were looked into.

In the end, a video describing the past performances of Enact was shown to the students to make them aware of a general idea of what inductees can look forward to.
