EAMCET 2012: Engineering Agriculture and Medicine Common Entrance Test

Engineering Agriculture and Medicine Common Entrance Test (EAMCET 2012) is an entrance examination for admission to a number of professional courses like engineering, medical, pharmacy, biotechnology, veterinary etc in private/government colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

EAMCET 2012 is conducted by the JawaharLal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher education (APSCHE).

Eligibility Criteria: 

• A candidate should have passed 10+2 with physics, chemistry and mathematics as his subjects.
• In case of Medical and agriculture the candidates should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the main subjects at the intermediate level.  
• Candidates who have secured Diploma in Engineering or appeared in the exam conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh are also eligible to attend the entrance exam. 
• Age Limit- The candidate should have attained the age of 17 years for admission to this exam. 
• The candidate should have attained of 50% for attending the entrace exam.

EAMCET 2012: Reservation of seats

For Andhra Pradesh students: 100% seats reserved (Based on EMACET 2012 score)

Note: Other states students cannot apply for EMACET 2012

Validity of the Score: The EAMCET 2012 score is valid for a period of 1 year.
