DY Patil University, Pune Announces Admissions for MBBS, BDS Courses Open

Dr. DY Patil University, Pune has announced admissions opens and invites applications for 5 years Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in Dr. DY Patil Dental College and Hospital and 5 and a half years Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in Dr. DY Patil Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre for the 2022-17 academic year.  The respective colleges are recognised under the UGC/MCI/DCI for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Aspirants who wish to apply for these programmes must fulfil the eligibility criteria mentioned below:

• Must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board.
• Candidates with other qualifications must produce an equivalence certificate issued by the Association of Indian University (AIU), New Delhi.

The candidates who wish to apply for the programmes can reach out to the official website of DPU. The selection of candidates will be on the basis All India Ranking and marks obtained in NEET-UG 2022.

The following table shows all the important dates for admissions to the MBBS and BDS programmes. All the candidates who wish to apply must go through these dates and mark their calendars.

The total intake for the MBBS programme is 250 out of which 212 are for general category candidates and 38 are for NRI/FN/PIO category. The total intake for the BDS programme is 100, wherein 85 is for general and the remaining 15 for PIO/NRI/FN category.
