The University of Delhi has started off with another Gyanodaya project, with the theme Dharohar: The Glory of the North East. The Gyanodaya Express train, with students over 900 with teachers, from December 18-29, 2014.
The project focuses on the inculcating of endangered languages of the Northeast, scientific developments, education, sports, etc in those areas. Also the students will learn about the flora and fauna of one of the most majestic places in India. About 100 teachers will be accompanying the students, as per the University's guidelines, teachers preferably from northeast from each college were to be selected. Started as the 'College on Wheels' project in 2012, this will be the fourth edition of Gyanodaya Express.

The Dharohar-Gyanodaya Express train was flagged off from the Safdarjang Railway Station.
The trip will include visiting the places like Arunachal Pradesh, Assam (Guwahati), Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura.
Started as the 'College on Wheels' project in 2012, this will be the fourth edition of Gyanodaya Express. During the trip, students will get to meet representatives of local universities as well as senior functionaries of northeastern states.
