The Department of Sociology, Delhi University has invited applications from eligible candidates for three Assistant Professors on ad-hoc basis. Interested candidates are required to submit their resume (including copies of mark sheets and degrees) in the Department Office latest by July 4, 2014.
Check if you are eligible:
- Candidate should have good academic record at least 55% or an equivalent grade at the Master’s degree level in Sociology, social Anthropology or allied social science discipline from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from a foreign University
- Preference will be given to those who possess a research degree-M. Phil/Ph. D (Sociology/Social Anthropology)
- Apart from the above mentioned criteria, candidate must possesses NET/SLET or been awarded Ph. D Degree in compliance of the UGC, Regulation 2009.
Documents need to be produced:
- Complete list of publications
- If belongs to reserved category then need to produce the certificate of SC/ST/OBC/ Physically Handicapped
- Contact number and address
Candidates are requested to apply with full candidature without delay. Incomplte and late application would not be entertained.
