There is a reason to joy for many women-Delhi University applicants. NCWEB (Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board) has decided to offer certificate and diploma courses to the students. Apart from these courses, students can also pursue degree courses like B.Com (bachelor of Commerce), B.A. (Bachelor of Arts) and M.A. (Master of Arts). These courses can be pursued while being enrolled for another course.
The classes for these courses are conducted on weekends and the regular DU faculty teaches them. This provides the flexibility to the students to pursue their regular course also. The courses are of three–year duration and the classes for these do not exceed more than 50 in one year.
The University officials answered many queries relating to these courses on the University’s open days. The officials feel that pursuing these add-on courses would enhance the employability of the women candidates.
