DU ‘North Campus’: Popular Eateries and hang out places

The ‘North Campus’ of the Delhi University is not only famous for its Colleges but also for the hang out places or ‘Addas’ (as called by the students) it has. The Kamla Nagar market or the K Nags, as popularly known, is always on the taste radar of students. This place is their second home. It has everything to offer, from the local brands of clothes and watches to international fast-food brands such as the KFC, Pizza Hut etc. However, there are a few ‘desi’ eating joints that are very popular among the students and attract them everyday.

They are as follows:

1. Tom Uncle’s Maggi Point: Situated near Khalsa College, this eating joint has a dedicated Facebook page. It offers various flavours in Maggi that are pocket friendly. Masala flavour is a must have.

2. Chache di hatti: It serves the all time favourite snack ‘Cholle Bhature’ at an affordable cost. This joint is always full despite of no seating arrangements.

3. QD’s: This joints serves mouth watering and stomach filling dishes such as Fried rice, Manchurian, Momos etc.

4. Banta Wala: Situated just outside the Hindu College, it is high in demand during the summers. Please take Lemonade mixed with ice and masala to cool things off.

5. Bhelpuri Wala: The Mohanlal Bhelpuri wala who also sits outside the Hindu College sells the mouth watering Bhelpuri and attracts students round the year.

Being a DU student has many perks but, even if you are not one, you can take the feel of it by visiting one of these eateries and treat yourself of the DU campus flavor!
