History: Daulat Ram College is female only college of the Delhi University situated in the ‘North Campus’. Late Shri Daulat Ram gupta founded the college in the year 1960. It started with the name of the Pramila College with just 15 staff members and 350 students. Today, the college has more than 3200 students on its rolls.
Courses: The College offers courses in all the streams and certificate, diploma and advanced diploma level courses in foreign languages.
Infra: The College building has undergone renovation and expansion over the years to provide the best infrastructure facilities to its students. This includes new classrooms, a modern seminar hall and state-of-the-art Computer and Science labs. The library has more than 80,000 titles and subscriptions of many journals. Apart from this, there is also a provision of hostel facility that can accommodate 200 students. The College also has facilities for sports such as Athletics, Table Tennis, and Gymnastics etc.
Co-Curricular: Various societies and clubs, NSS, NCC, women’s development centre and many other facilities are there to enhance the personality of the individual by building confidence courage in them. Not only this, an active alumni association is also there for the association of students and the college.
