DU Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) ADMISSION 2014

With the varsity’s decision to keep the BMS entrance this year, the announcements of the application for this course are out.

The students can get the DU BMS CET 2014 forms from Saturday, June 7^th 2014. The forms will be available till June 18^th 2014. The DU BMS application forms will most likely be available in the online format only. The candidates who wish to sit for the entrance for this course under the Delhi University are required to fill the application before the stated deadline.

Like last year, Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) continues to be the authority responsible for conducting the DU BMS CET this year as well.

The online application forms for BMS CET 2014 can be downloaded from the FMS or Delhi University’s official websites starting from June 7^th 2014.

The selection criterion has been changed for the candidates applying for DU BMS, from this year onwards. The change includes the scrapping of the Personal Interview from the selection process and states for the equal distribution of percentage marks between the BMS entrance and the class XII scores respectively.

Please find below certain guidelines for DU BMS CET 2014 Online Application Process:

• Go to the official website of Delhi University or FMS DU.
• Follow the link which says DU BMS CET 2014 Application Form
• Fill in the application form as per the given instructions
• Complete the payment process through the given modes
• Submit the form only once all the required fields are correctly filled
• Keep a print of the application form and form number that you will get after the successful submission for future reference

You must have the following ready in order to complete the application process:

• Valid mobile number and e mail id
• Scanned photograph (passport size)
• Scanned copy of signature

The application fee for this course last year, was Rs. 1000/- for the students in the general category and Rs. 500/- for the SC, ST and PWD candidates respectively.

Approximately 16000 students took the DU BMS Entrance test last year and after a great hue and cry in favor of the entrance, a large number of applicants are expected this year as well.

There are six colleges in DU, namely, Maharaja Agrasen, Shaeed Sukhdev, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Keshav Mahavidyalaya, College of Vocational Studies and B R Ambedkar which offer Bachelors in Management Studies (BMS), with around 840 seats.
